I think I'm going to buy 2 Lew's BB1 reels. One will be the BB1HZ with 6.4:1 gear ratio. I intend to use it for crank baits (nothing more than a D14) and spinner baits. The other I think will be the BB1SHZ with 7.1:1 gear ratio. I'll use this for flipping and pitching with creatures etc.

Any input from you guys regarding these reels and how I intend to use them?

I was at Joe's too yesterday. They currently dont' have any Lew's reels in stock. Amazon has them for $142. I did buy a Shimano Crucial 7'-6" cranking rod at Joe's....couldn't pass it up for 30% off. Spring better come soon or I'm going to go broke buying gear in anticipation of open-water fishing.
