pushbutton
Does Woodland or any other outfit up there have day shacks/warming houses for rent in toothy critter areas. Called woodland twice and got a "I don't know" and "I think"….no biggie, so emailed them, without a return for over a week now……so am asking here
JBMasterAngler
Kind've odd that people from woodland would say that. Every time I see them on fishing shows they're always talking about pike fishing from their shacks. From what I always see they set the tip ups outside the shack while they're fishing for perch/walleye inside the shack.
pushbutton
Apparently was just talking to the people that deal with the reservations and not guides and such, know they are geared mostly for perch, but did not think my question would be such a stumper either. Suppose later in the year, all the species might head up shallower, but would not think the pike would be out in the basins right now along with the perch??? Don't know, never been there, but thinking of going in March instead of LOW, and just curious what their set up is like….more specially for pike. Would be cool if you could fish all three at the same time though…..
holmsvc
If you want to fish for pike. I'm sure they can set you up for pike. There are tons of them in devils.
