Why buy new when slightly used with do?

Last year got my pops a showdown for 150, and yesterday my son another for 100 on the connies list. Were not talking trollers either No matter the unit you want, you just have to be patient, keep your eye out, and offer cash…..if anyone is bad at math….thats two medium tier units for 250 dollars

If that's what you're leaning towards buy it! I've got a non dual beam and I kick myself for not buying the dual beam, I use my showdown all the time, I also own a LX5 but I usually use the showdown.

You won't regret your purchase if you get the showdown.

No love for the Showdown?? Reeds has the dual beam at $349 free shipping. I'm really leaning towards this or the HB Ice 55. The Showdown seems to have a lot going for it from what I see. Digital, Zoom, dual beam, ir. It shows the bottom, your bait and the fish in a simple vertical format.

Plus with it's compact size it would be great for hole hopping. I want new for the price point I'm in. Seems used sonar is holding it's value quite well. Besides I like to have my warranty. Thanks for all the input everyone!

If you can get the LX-5 for $400, I would get that..Thats the price I got mine for and its awesome...

Is that an in store only special..... the HSOforum shows $649 for the 597 unit set up for ice fishing?

don't know but they had them stocked up on the floor advertising $419 in Rogers, you could call the store to double check

If you really want the Ice55 you can buy that LX5 and I'll trade you for a year old Humminbird. I know it's not brand new but it has a custom made transducer arm with my name engraved into it lol.
