BryeGuy
Twins are bringing Jason Kubel back 1500 is reporting. Smells of HR desperation to me.
Musky Buck
Does he want to come back or are his options becoming limited ?
nofishfisherman
After the year he had last year I've got to think he doesn't have a ton of options and he'll probably come at a discount.
Rick G
He is back, signed a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. Even if he did have a bad season last year, I think he is still a better option than what the Twinks had last year.
Mid-Lake Rock
I will take Willingham as DH over Kubel. Willingham will not be playing left field this year.
ozzie
almost have to laugh at the people they have talked about signing...like they want to pick players from the last 10 years. Garza, Santana, AJ, Kubel- must be after they saw how many former Twins in the All-star line-up this past year they hope to catch magic in a bottle!!! Good Luck Twins
BryeGuy
Has anyone signed Boof Bonser?
nofishfisherman
I'd rather get Tori Hunter back. It seems like when he left things started falling apart. He was the only real vocal leader in the club house and I think he kept people accountable because he wasn't afraid to speak up.
Musky Buck
Yes and then Jim Thome took over Hunter's vocal leadership, I liked it when Hunter called out Morneau, now it's time to call out our untouchable new first baseman. Tattoo, Boof is available I think. Kubel liked hitting in the perfect weather of the metrodome also, same in arizona. We lost any homefield advantage we used to have. Our entire focus needs to be on pitching I think. SF and Oakland seem to make it work without a ton of offense and they get rid of much of their power like Willingham and that Carter guy that's in Houston now. idk, give that salary to pitching if you can. Kubel is on a wallet fattening tour before teams realize his real initials of his name aren't JK it's DL.
