roughfish29
Hey dudes,My dad and I are going to be heading down to clear lake the first or second weekend in January to try for yellow bass. What type of areas should we fish, and what should we use? Basically, what should we do?Thanks-

jwerner
i usually go out on the little lake to find yellows. drill lots of holes and use your electronics. when you get on them fish them while its hot then continue drilling holes and try to stay on the school. i usually use a heavy jig so i can get down to them faster when you do get into them. usually around 10 foot of water. if you get into a good bite and your tired of them stealing your spikes or waxies cut a piece of belly meat off one and you'll be good for 20-50 more fish before you have to change it. hope this helps.
