Bogging down with high beams?

It sounds like your generator , or an alternator if it has one is under to much load.Causing the motor to work to hard to keep up.
Now I am not an expert on Polaris, so I could be wrong.
Have you called any dealers yet to ask the techs ?They should be open to giving some ideas, if they just tell you they don't know and you have to bring it in I would try another dealer.It may be that they don't know but most dealers techs should have an idea what would cause it.

Maybe a wire is grounding out on some thing?
It has to be electrical in nature if it only happens on High beams and probably related to the high beam circuit.

Good luck, and if you can't get any answers I can call my causin from up North.He is a big Polaris fan and also a GM machanic.
