Lake Maps

Recommended Posts

Just got back from a week at Lac Suel. Awesome fishing. Very tough to navigate with all the rocks and reefs but the fishing was awesome. Are there any digital maps out there such as Lakemaster or Navionics I can buy to help with getting around?

We stayed in Scout Bay and fished, McKenzie Bay, South Inlet, Hungry Inlet and a lot more. Even went into Broad and Sunlight Lakes. The guys I went with have been going there for eight years and share trails from their Lowrance units. I have a Hbird and am looking for a good digital chart so I can run my boat up there safely.

Last time I was there, I ran from the bridge (Ear Falls) to Mckenzie Bay and points east on a daily basis. Didn't really need to...but that is part of the adventure, right? I would have never made it without that chip. Not to say they are the most accurate things on earth because they rely on water levels and the probability of human/computer error, etc, but the Navionics Canada is pretty impressive.

Thanks for the replies prov1900. Stopped at Reeds today and they are sold out of that chip. More coming in this week. Want to buy it now so I can check it out before next years trip.
