Good women's cold weather parka

Looking for ideas for my girlfriend and all the reviews I've read on the parkas I've found haven't been very good. The big things are warmth and silence, thanks for sharing any info!

Best thing available right now is Canada Goose. They have some trimmer styles that give up a little bit of utility. For all out cold weather the original Expedition is a good choice. The Resolute is a little longer and covers almost to the knees. They are fairly quiet as synthetics go. They are expensive but worth it. I got mine for ski patrolling when working races. I spend a lot of time standing around wait for someone to break themselves. Buy from a listed dealer and not fleabay, lots of chinese scams.

Harder to find and prices have gone up ever since queen pouty lips was seen wearing one on set. Kinda like hipsters and pendletons...grrrrr....
