Been a fun summer...

Got a job as the youth director at the local golf course, been a ton of fun. One of our 11 year olds got a hole in one the other day. Too much fun.

Anyway, as I have re-enjoyed getting back into the game, its been fun fixing the swing and upgrading the old outdated clubs. So far..

Got a new Nike Covert adjustable driver. Had it narrowed down between that one and the Cobra, and just turned out I liked the sound and feel of the Nike better.

New wedges, Mizuno- MP R-12 actually these were just new to me, not brand new.. Got them off our head pro for a steal. 50-54-58*.

New putter, Nike Method Concept--- love this putter...great roll off the club face.

And hope to get fitted for new irons later this week. Not exactly sure what I am leaning towards. Mizuno 825pro? maybe?

Took some lessons shortened my swing a ton, hitting the ball MUCH straighter. Been Fun!

Being normal sized like myself Dietz, a shortened feeling back swing is absolutely what we need. make sure you get fitted for those new irons. I have the Mizuno 800pro's and love them, except my 5 and 6 irons, but that is my fault not the clubs.....

I found that Cleveland's 38" Almost Belly Putter is a great length for me, at the pro shop yesterday at The links at Northfork, I tried a 34" Nike putter, I didn't think I would ever be able to stand back up........
