shiltsy
Looking for a last minute campsite for a fishing trip this weekend. I've fished Moose before, but its booked up for this weekend. Mineral is a small lake further north in Chequamegon... Is it a decent fishing lake? Pretty flexible on species!
snoozebutton
Don't know anything about Mineral but you'll be close to a lot of lakes in that area, Ghost, Teal, Lost Land, Day Lake to name a few. Beautiful area so even if you don't do real good fishing, it should be a fun weekend.
Birchwood Dan
I would try Murphy's Flowage. Quiet campground run by Sawyer co.It's located about 3 miles east of Birchwood. Great Bass and Pike Lake.
shiltsy
Fished Lost Land and Teal... Love the quiet lake rules they have in place. What a beautiful area...What was not beautiful was the fishing action. We fished hard from Friday through this morning and it was dead. Threw every piece of tackle in every presentation and just couldn't get much going. Still beat staying home all weekend!
