Despicable Dog breeder

Story is out of N.Dakota, but could just as easy be here in MN. Some cretin who calls himself a "dog breeder" has been hauled up before authorities based on public complaints. More than 150 dogs confiscated and more than $20,000 spent so far cleaning them up, feeding and treating them. Now the ignorant pig is asking to get his dogs back. Judge to make decision next few days.

Problem is N.Dak has more or less nothing for dog breeding or kennel operating standards and laws. This problem is beginning to get more attention in the civilized states of the Union. There is attention to it here in MN too but to date there has been some negative backlash, I believe based on fears the current proposals too strict or unenforceable.

If you pay attention to this sort of thing you already know N.Dak is KNOWN as a puppy mill haven.

If you know anybody in N.Dak who can influence this situation and spread the word about needed legislation do our canine pals a favor and speak out. Same with Minnesota. Your local legislator can help, but he won't if you don't ask him too.

My fond hope is the judge will NOT let this person have the dogs back. And he will also make this person pay the more than $20,000 that has been spent to clean up, treat and save the dogs that survived.

You really do not want to SEE or know the details of the pigs operation because then you'll want to do what a couple of other guys have suggested to me. That wouldn't be pretty either!
