laker1
Seen three bucks on my camera, two were still in full velvet as of this morning. One fawn also with lots of spots still.
leech~~
Well I let the cam soak for two weeks. Ended up with 568 pictures, all of Doe's and one button buck!!! But where there are lots of Doe's the bucks have got to show up soon I'm betting!

Wanderer
That's cool! I've always dreamed of finding two nice bucks fighting while I'm out there. One of my stand set ups was in an area that I was finding lone beds on a hill side that were getting used repeatedly. They would be down 30-40 yards from some heavy under brush but pretty clear below. All the beds were on the uphill side of large rock or tree stump. They were all pretty un-approachable and had great views. Nice fresh lumpy buck turds on the trails too! I'm thinking I've got a smart mature buck using this as his bedroom, so up the stand goes. I figured I'd have to get in real early to hunt it but I left the camera to give me a clue as to what I might be hunting. Well, this pic explained a lot... Crippled right rear leg, scarred up face with what looks like infection oozing out around his eye. Poor guy!
leech~~
Very sad. Some times you just want to help them out by letting an arrow go. But, then where do some of the three legged deer I have seen still running around come from? They still have to suffer for a long time before and if they make it. engfish
The first photo has a striking resemblance to the second photo, but I'm fairly certain that these are two different deer. The cameras are on two separate parcels of land that are within a half mile of each other. What do you think?
