Women and vacuum cleaners

I can't be the only one that the wife tricks into vacuuming the carpet and I spend the first half hour taking the vacuum apart and cleaning all the hoses out of things that are not meant to be vacuumed up. Candy wrappers, bread bag ties, tissue paper, hair ties. I have to go get the shop vac to clean the house vac up, then I vacuum rugs and carpet and I show here how well the vacuum will suck when it is cleaned. The wife sits and drinks coffee and watches me vacuum, and I fall for it every time...

No but I get sucked into other stuff. Wife was messing around with some patio and other blocks in a garden. She was struggling and asked for some help. Well being the nice, kind hubby that I am I said sure and was out there digging and leveling and looked over and she was gone. WTH! Peek around the corner and she is sitting at the picnic table drinking coffee with a neighbor lady. All I got was you seemed to be doing so well I figured I would leave you with it. grin

Mine constantly threw belts from a broken guide in a location too tight to get at otherwise its sucked good. See you later vacuum cleaner and got another.

My wife doesn't ask for help very often but when she does I know I better get right on it.

That means her way and doesn't want to hear about my way.

I also know when to not help when not asked because that can be bad too.

I have much to learn from you, Frank. I tend to put on my "Fix-It" cap and turn a small task into a large multi-faceted project when I get involved.

If my wife wants me to do something she goes to the basement or garage and starts banging on something with a hammer. I get there pretty quick and tell her that I heard her calling and ask what she wants me to do.

Ha ha ha... I wish I could get my wife to vacuum at all! Her short range vision is terrible, so the floors never look dirty to her! laugh

If I want a clean house, I pretty much have to clean it myself, or badger my kids into doing it.

Its like when mine sent me grocery shopping she asked if I would use coupons and I said:"yea why not", so she gave me a list and a list of coupons, and I got everything on both lists. The grocery bill was over $300 dollars and when I got home she was not pleased that I got everything so She said That would be the last time that I got to go shopping. My plan worked very well wink

I do vacuum as well but I haven't figured out how to get out of it yet confused

Well we are using Dyson DC40 vacuum cleaner in our home because its best for cleaning on any kind of floor.. but its little expensive, if you don't focus on its features. here is the picture of the cleaner..

Lemme tell you guys something: Dyson is one of the worlds great showboat sales operations. Cleaning.....uh.....meh?!

If you want a REAL vacuum cleaner go get a Kirby....even a used/rebuilt Kirby. They are heavy and somewhat old fashioned but they will outlast and outclean anything else on the market. Ask anybody who owns one or who has been around long enough to know what a real vacuum cleaner is all about.
