When I was driving by one of the sloughs that I usually duck hunt something caught my eye. I had to turn around and go back to make sure that I wasn’t seeing things. It was a goose with an all white/grayish body with a normal Canadian head. It was in the slough with five or six other geese. I took a picture with my phone. It’s not the best, but all I had with. Something you don’t see every day. Hopefully it sticks around for hunting season.

Thats awesome thanks for sharing. Did it have pink eyes? There is a lot of cross breeding with waterfowl. If it didn't have pink eyes there is a chance it is a snow or ross/canada cross bread. Hopefully he is still there in September. That would be a sweet mount.

We are seeing more and more of these every year. We had two different groups that shot something similar last fall. We had a group from Kentucky that shot one in mid October and then one of our regulars shot one in mid November. Both were headed for the taxidermist last I heard.
