Sergio M
I have a 24 volt minnkota 76lb thrust trolling motor mounted at the bow which I have 2 batteries (24 volt system)for this trolling motor. I picked up a 55lb thrust minnkota trolling motor which is 12 volt and I am thinking of mounting this on the transum. Do you think I can run a power cable to tap into one of the batteries (only need 12 volt)from the front trolling motor to hook up the back trolling motor? I really don't want to add a 4th battery. gunner55
We have a 70lb(24) in back & 55lb(12) in front with the plug in type receptacle for each in that part of the boat.Just be sure each is properly fused.I should add these are both ran off 2 deep cycle batteries in the front of the boat.A good on board charger,we have a Minn kota 2 bank, is a plus.By the time I get back to the dock the TM batteries are almost always 90-95% charged.
