Sturg
I have been seeing a female kestrel on the way home from work but she hangs out in a high traffic area so I have been unable to get a shot. This morning I found another one in a less travelled area and was able to get a pic. The waterfowl are abundant in the area and I also got a nice shoveler pair this morning. There are several pairs around this year.

MN Shutterbug
Gotta admit, that's probably the sweetest Kestrel shot I've seen. I've seen them in flight and on high line wires, and that's it. I don't believe I've ever seen one perched on anything natural. Congrats.
Dotch
Nice photos, both of 'em. Quite the digging utensil those shovellers have.
