ccarlson
If I put an 8.5' pickup camper (1994 hardsided northstar) on my 6.5' pickup box with the tailgate down (Chev 2500hd crew cab with a duramax), can I just use a 2 foot receiver hitch extension and have enough capability to pull my Ranger 620 or will I be overloaded because of the added leverage of the hitch extension?I found a good deal on this camper but not interested if I can't pull my boat or 2 horse trailer (about the same weight as my ranger) on a standard hitch extension.I'm not interested in changing out the hitch to a superhitch or adding an air bag system. If I can't do it with the stock 3/4 ton set up, I'll just wait for a 6.5 foot camper. Let me know your thoughts or experiences. Thanks, ccarlson
