CodyDawg
So we have been going to Canada fishing for about 25 years. It has been an all family guys trip with dads and sons, but this year we will bring my 9 year old girl (3 generations!). There will be 6-7 of us total and we are looking for good walleye and big northern fishing. We have been fortunate to have outstanding walleye fishing on Lac Seul over the years, but the northern fishing was mediocre at best (topping out at 40"). So about 5 years ago we went in search of big pike....and found them in Grand Rapids, Manitoba. But the walleye fishing was not very good there (at least when we were there in June). We would prefer to camp and we bring our own boats. Any recommendations for a resort that wont break the bank and is within ...oh...say 4-5 hours of the border? superbee
I would recommend trying something on Lake St Joe. It is an amazing fishery.
