Jegerjack, the only problem you will have is that the cardbaord will not stand up to the abuse and weather you may encounter while hunting. You would be better off using sub-flooring or other thin plywood. Yes they can work, but as the season moves on the geese will become selective when it comes to decoying. I used to use the plywood dekes as fillers in between the full bodies. Good luck. Flip

Has any one tried making home made goose decoys? I have a bunch of cardboard and I was going to make goose cutouts and then paint them. Has anyone tried this? Any luck using them?
