1DIRTBALL
The interior light's on my 2003 Dodge Durango SXT won't go off after I shut the door! I pulled the fuse so my battery wouldn't drain. Anybody got a clue as to why this happen's? Thanks in advance. 1DIRTBALL
bobbymalone
that's happened to me before and it was a problem with the switch in the door that should be shutting off when the door closes. I fixed it by just cleaning out some junk around the little boot that covered the switch. It was easy to figure out where the problem was because my car has a little indicator on the dash that tells you what doors are open. It would say the passenger side rear door was open, even when it was securely closed.
Scott K
By any chance is the dome light switch on the dash turned on? You wont believe how many times I find that to be the cause. Otherwise, you probably have a bad door switch.
