Flying over and around that is, not actually gutting the field of every kernel of corn lol, but they wanted to. The weekend before there were maybe 20K in that field on the ground, actually who knows how many we truly saw but it is the most I've ever seen in my lifetime and many said there was nothing around but my shoulder is still sore 2 days later lol. What was the CO's motive ? Seemed really odd, he no more than drove off, I'm sure he saw them, 3 hours of white geese airborn in every direction ? The birds hang in there that long ? Definite rookie to the spring snow goose hunt but it was really fun for sure. I bet some dudes have gotten in serious mud/roads out there, we stuck to the pavement and still found several feeds no 1 was bothering.

Nothing better than a sore shoulder. One day a buddy and I shot 28 boxes of shells. My head hurt so bad that I didn't even shot that evening. But we shot 365 geese that day so it was good.

The CO was there for a reason I'm sure. Looking for MN plates probably. ..

Right on BL13, I was just confused by the opening line, you planning to hunt here ? Yes. Well I haven't seen any birds around here. I drive by here a lot. I wanted to say well if nothing is around here why are you around here lol. We saw maybe 40-50 thousand birds after he left, shortly after and put some of them down for the count. It was just a really weird exchange and he didn't want to see my license, idk. However you stack it, it sure was fun to have thousands of honkers, lessers, specks decoying and eventually snows and blues, also seeing fields that were just thrashed by thousands of geese, man they can really tear it up.

Just finally got a chance to finish drying and storing my decoys. Noticed another visual to share with those that have never witnessed the magnitude of the snow goose migration. I would guesstimate that well over 1/2 of my decoys had a goose dropping on it with many having multiple hits. My truck had at least a dozen hits. Hate to hazzard a guess as to how many poos were launched to attain such a high mark rate.

One confirmed hit in the group. I had many hit either my blind, or the dog blind and e-caller right next to me. Also had the young dog decide to roll in a recycled ribeye. She wasn't pleased with the ice water hose bath out of the farm hydrant.
