This was my first HSO get together and I had a great time. Unfortunately, I was not cool enough to catch a catfish, but I still had fun. All the food was great and I tell ya, you guys know how to make a cold day turn out great. The food was just delicious.

What a great event. Sorry to have missed it this year.

I was in Houston TX attending a conference. Also angled for redfish out of Galveston, TX. Was fun, but I would have much preferred being on the hardwater.

Hope to make it next year.

I have a confession to make. My name's Eric and I pulled a buzbunni this year, and didn't tell anyone.

I screwed 2- 1 lb'rs into the big buddy. Apparently one of them wasn't seated very well. A pilot light and small blow up later I tossed the big buddy out of the house...........and then looked around to see iffin anyone saw it. My wife asked me, "Did you just blow up in there?" My answer, "No, I'm just fermenting a bit." She gets it, trust me.

Explosions, they happen. I survived with most of my facial hair.
