Many of you know Jim (Hudson's On The Spot Guide Service), a great guy and great guide out of Bayfield, Wis.

Jim is being life flighted to Duluth. He was guiding out on Lake Superior when he went through the ice at 1 p.m. and, after 3 hours of cpr, there was still no heartbeat. His wife, Hannah Stonehouse Hudson, is with him, and posted the information on Facebook a little while ago.

Jim and Hannah need all the prayers they can get from everyone. Right now!

Its a very very sad day in the fishing community. Please be safe guys and if possible get a flaotation suite. Never know when its going to be your last trip out.
Steve, it's times like these that really hit home and make me think that I should get a flotation suite. Maybe sometime you can do a post of the different ones available? Thanks for the reminder.

Prayers being sent out to Jim's wife, family, and friends.

One time my wife and I were in Bayfield, WI for our anniversary and he offered to take us out fishing in his boat. I really wish it would have worked out to have fished with him.

I really enjoyed his fishing reports and videos.

The fishing community lost a great one yesterday.

Rest in Peace Jim, you'll be missed by many.

Brian
