Otter Lodge T600 assembly problem

Recommended Posts

I finished putting together my new Otter Lodge and the floor bar that should be sitting on the ice is about 3 to 4 inches from the ground. The bottom of the skirt is where the bar should be. All the poles and everything is put together the way they should be. I am going to let the house sit and let the canvas stretch for a couple days hopefully that will help. Any other suggestions would be great thanks!!!!!!

Put all your support poles in and stretch it out. Everything needs to settle in and stretch out. When I put my Thermal Cabin together it had the same problem, but I set it up out in the yard and banked it just like I would if I were on the ice.

exactly what Rymann said...

start with drilling the hole in the sled for the rear support bar, put that one in and work your way around the top to the adjustable one in the front where the door is and stretch that one out as far as you can. I did this on my Wild (T600) Cabin and it worked great! I was having the same problem as you, and it will take setting it up a few times and getting the canvas stretched to keep it that way.
