cps420us
Can anyone give me a few pointers on what to use to target cats through the ice. There's a pond close to home that the DNR stocks with channel cats, and I wouldn't mind trying it. Some of you may know of it. Max depth of 11 ft. Would it be wise to start deep? Near weeds? Would basic walleye lures work? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Naturboy
I've used buckshot spoons and Lindy fliers with minnow heads, so yes basic walleye stuff should work. Also the deeper part of the pond is where I'd start.
nsnutter
I know exactly where you're talking about. Shoot me a pm, your inbox is full so I can't send you one.
aanderud
i would definitely start deep. find the sharp breaks too (if there are any). if they aren't in either of those, try just outside the weed edge.
