Moose
What is everyone using to charge their sealed lead acid batteries. I am in the market for a new charger and want to know what works the best. I want to get away from the adapter style charger. I used a Solar brand Logix charger over the weekend but it only goes down to 2 amps. Is that to fast a charge for these batteries? I would like it to have a meter or something to tell me what % the battery is at and then once it gets to full charge go to a maintainer charge for when I forget to take it off the charger I wouldn't mind if it had higher and lower amp setting to charge boat and vehicle batteries also. Pedro77
I've been using a Battery Tender Jr. for the past two seasons. 750ma output till charged, then maintain mode. No percentage read out, but uses a light system, red charging, green charged/maintaining. I like it. It works well. Simple plug in transformer, comes with alligator clips.
