Hole sleeves

I bought some holes sleeves for my 8x16 ice castle. When i put them in the hole they stick up prolly 2 inches from the floor arent they suppose to sit flush. Do you guys trim them or just crank up the house to adjust for the hole sleeve?

You can just cut them off at the needed height.

I took 4 2x4 amd stuck them on each corner. then u also don't have to worry so much about house freezing in

If you take your house home after every outing I would cut them to fit. If you plan on leaving it sit for awhile than I wouldnt cut them and use the blocks. Anyone know if the ice castle hole sleeves (fish hole buddy) fit in the original catch covers?

What inch hole sleeves did you get??

I belive the Ice Castle covers are larger than the Catch Cover brand.

My 8" sleeves for the Catchcover brand are tapred at the bottom. With a 2x6 block under the house frame on the ice they sit nicely into a 10" drilled hole. With fans circulating the air, I have never had one freeze in(so far)
