Favorite Electric Fillet knifes

Question

I'm looking for information on Electric Fillet knifes. I've owned 2 green/yellow Mister Twister knives and 1 Salt water version of the Mister twister and I can wear them out in less then a year. I'm not to impressed with them. I've used the American Angler knives also, and really like them. But I've never used one for an entire year and wonder if they'll hold up.

So what are the best knifes for cleaning walleyes? Which ones last? I've never used the Rapala or Berkely knifes. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've had the American Angler kit for two years, and it is freaking awesome. It generates some serious RPMs compared to the Mister Twister. A few guys who have used it commented on the speed of it. I had the Mister Twister before this (nuked it plugging in to a 220 line), and was happy with that as well. This one is just a little better.

I've had the Mister Twister and then I got a rapala and it works like a charm. I treat it like dirt and it just keeps working. I store it having on a nail outside under the soffit at cabin and while it doesn't get wet it is out in humidity, gets dewey I'm sure and it doesn't quit working.

New blades every couple of years and that's it.

I've used a Rapala too for a couple years. Works very well. My only complaint is that the batteries tend to run out pretty quickly (I can usually do about 4 fish before it dies). The pack comes with two batteries though, so I almost always have one charged.

try a true real chefs filet or boning knife made of hard anodized stainless steel in the 7-8 inch length range. brands like forschner, trident, etc that professional chefs use everyday. may run $30-50 but u will never need another knife again.

i do have an older (but excellent condition) portable knife set for the hunter/fisherman if u r interested, just pm me

Can't anodize stainless steel. Chemically impossible.
