i have a contact just south of mankato that has a steady supply if that is close enough you can pm if you want. Also a contact for Chuckars. if you are looking to catch some in your area get yourself a long handeled fishing net a ladder and a head lamp and contact your local feedmill or county about getting under some of the county bridges

Watch the buildings in your area. See if there are pigeons flying near or sitting on any of the high points. Once located, a cheap pigeon trap, small bowl of seed and a little time and you'll have more than you know what to do with.

I trapped the building right next to where I used to work. The custodian would call me whenever I had birds in the trap. Every other day, 6 to 10 birds. Even in the winter.

I built a "coop" and stored them in my back yard. After a while, my "dog trainers" turned to "homers" and would fly back and sit on the roof of the coop after the training sessions. A quick fab up of a one way door and they'd even let themselves back in.

Kind of cool project actually.
