Empire furnace

I got an 18k empire direct vent furnace in my new carsella shack and am wondering if there is anyway possible to hook up a wall mounted thermostat into those. i can't find much. just thought it would be more convenient. thanks!

My 15K came with one - works great.

On the gas valve there should be 2 spades that are labled T and TH. Connect the wires to them from your thermostat. One will go to the R and one to the W on the thermostat. Make sure you have a milivolt thermostst.

I have 25k empire and was woundering the same thing called empire and they said there is no themostat for it ? /smoker are you saying if there is 2 spades bt the gas valve one could hook a themostat up ? sure would be nice to set at a temp and hold that temp instead of turning the up and down

Empire makes at least two styles. One has a wall mount thermostat, the other has the dial thermostat on the furnace.

The 18k Empire heater uses a capillary style thermostat which is part the gas valve. So there is not much options for a wall thermostat. The 15k Empire uses a static electric current so a normal wall thermostat is used.
