Pro_Pack vs. Ultra_Pack

my understanding is the ultra pack comes with a battery meter and some little plugs for charging without accessing the battery directly. I think there is a switch to kill battery drain too.

I have a pro-pack and added a battery meter, there is actually a place to install the meter on the pro-pack. I just pull the leads off the battery when I'm done and hook the charger up directly.

a battery meter is nice to have, otherwise, I don't see much of a point.

Not sure what the cost difference is, but if it

Biggest difference is the master shutoff switch so battery meter does not drain the battery. Both have models have battery meter, rod/accessory bracket, tackle box.

I personally prefer the Pro-Pack II design. More compact than the Ultra. Love the Vex rod holders on these packs. I use to of them so I can easily tote a few rods when I am hole hopping. Surprised other manufactures have not come up with the option for rod holders or other accessory options.
