new to me wheel house any tips

hi i just got a homemade 5x9 wheel house. any tips on them. put blocks underneath or drill holes first etc. never even been in one to know thanks for the tips

drill your holes , drop it down on some 4x6 blocks put sleeves in, clean holes no need to bank it then.

I drill my holes with the shack up and use to lower to ice and bank in. I now do what cam said. I lower onto 4x4 blocks and use sleeves. I have not noticed any difference in my floor being colder.

Sell it quick, because the Mayans are saying that the world will end before we can use them anyways..lol it depends on if you have a slush bucket and a slush inhaler on whether you drill while up or down... I drop mine...drop the slush buclet and use my electric auger to drill...I found on LOW that with the blocks under the frame and a "minor" ice year that unless I get a 3rd auger for next year I will be doing the same! I will be gettng a slush inhaler though for this winter!
