East Metro guide Ryan McMahon at TC Muskies Inc Sept 11

Recommended Posts

Guide Ryan McMahon is writing an article for Musky Hunter about how early Fall fishing differs from late Fall fishing. Come to the Twin Cities Muskies Inc meeting and get a sneak preview of the article. Ryan's favorite waters are White Bear, Bald Eagle and Forest Lakes.

The meeting will also have an auction of some items from the late Matt Nelson. Matt was the manufacturer of Wolftrap and Huntertail lures. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will go to stocking muskies in honor of Matt.

Oops it was Ryan that had the nine fish day on White Bear.

Matt had a 14’ Lund with a 35 horsepower Johnson

Seahorse and a trailer. It also comes with a Minnkota 36

trolling motor on front and a depth finder in the back and

front of the boat. They are the Eagle Magna and the

Lowrance X55A depth finders. The asking price is $2500.

If you are interested, please contact Ken Nelson (Matt’s

father) at 651-242-3835 or email him at:

[email protected]

We will be holding a silent auction at this

meeting of Matt’s fishing equipment. It will start at 6:30

p.m. and run until the end of the meeting. Items include,

rods, reels, a rod case, buckets and boxes of baits, and

The family will be donating a portion of the proceeds to

the Stocking Committee of our chapter to stock muskies

in honor of Matt.
