Last night a client took this bear. He saw 9 bears including this one on his first night hunting in about 4 hours. One well placed shot from his 45/70 anchored him on the spot. This boar weighed 420# and measured 7'9" from nose to tail. The hunters wife bought him the bear hunt for a birthday present.

Boar - hard not be pumped to see a big boy hit the ground. See them every year, but the hunters usually can not resist shooting sooner or don't get the shot. Finally everything just worked out and he was stoked! I enjoy seeing the hunters take their trophy as much as hunting. Of course, it always makes you smile a bit more when they are BIG!
