I caught my first topwater fish the other night on a top raider. I've also had a few fish blow up a giant jackpot which I would say is my favorite. I'm just curious about some of you other fellas most favorite topwater lures?

The weight. Casts further, the fish dont push it away on a strike.

What is it about the weagle that you like over a jackpot guys?

not fair to compare the two side by side as they're not really the same baits. jackpot is a faster quieter bait and weagles/satisfiers are at their best at a slower pace, pushing water with that big swoosh. i'd say both are legit options but i usually favor the weagle along with my lowriders, hawg wobblers, and topraiders. really want to get a twisted sister and dirty B as well since the quality on the lowriders has taken a dive in recent years.

Lots of topwaters have been my "favorite" over the years. I've found that some sing the right song on certain lakes, or at certain times of the year.

My favorites the last several years are Water Choppers, Proper Toppers,

Hawg Wobblers, Cyclones,Thunderheads and Lac Suel Turbos.

I like topwaters made out of wood, a nostalgia thing I guess.

I hsve an older wood pacemaker and love it, wont buy the new poly/plastic version. My favorite top to throw and fish is the weagle, havent seen a fish blow one out of water yet. Even big bass kill that thing.
