JPmunson
Hey Jim, what colors would your recommend for the staind water for the 1"smelt and the angle worm? Have you tried and had any luck with the aangle worm or is it just too long?
Jim Uran
I havent tried the angle worms out, to me they seem a little big. They work work on the really aggressive panfish or something you would use for bass.
JPmunson
Do they have a smaller worm perhaps? What colors would you stick with?
Jim Uran
No, actually they don't have a smaller worm, but I have been having the best luck with brighter colors, especially white. The 1" Minismelt work wonders, and if that isn't cutting it for you, try the waterbug. A tiny dab of super glue on the hook shank before you slide the plastic on will keep it on even longer. Jim Uran
Oh, wait a minute. They have the tapeworm, that's a smaller 1" worm and I did really well this winter on those, in red... The good thing about these plastics, they are cheap, they don't stink like Gulp does, and they are very effective.
