Driftless
How would you like to catch these two amazing brook trout on 2 casts? It was three years ago on tiny water. I had never fished the stream before.
Duffman
Looks like you caught the same fish on back to back casts.Must've been really hungry.

Driftless
wow.. 2 fish on 2 casts.. I'm pretty sure no one has ever done that before.. congrats a 14.5 inch brookie and 16 inch brookie on back to back casts are serious rare.
itchmesir
I think the other guys are right.. upon closer inspection of the two pics.. the markings are identical.. like the human finger print.. none are identical
Driftless
i placed the originals on a grid and measured the photos. The trout are OBVIOUSLY 2 different brook trout. Not even close
itchmesir
so unless you were positive that they were both taken at the exact same distance and angle.. your grid is pointless
DTro
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I'd bet money its the same fish. Unless all brookies have the same "five of dice" pattern with the same size dots and identically spaced blue dots.
Slabasaurus
Thats the same fish I have to agree here. I especially agree with D-tros second post, as that's the EXACT thing I noticed.

ted4887
Len, post up the originals on here. Emailing you seems too much work for something I could care less about. Same fish either way though.
Driftless
they are giant sized and from your attitude i am not going to waste my time.It is obvious you have your mind made up already.

ted4887
Photobucket or Imageshack can resize the images for you. I don't have a bad attitude about it at all. It's really just a trivial matter as far as I'm concerned. One fish or two different ones makes no matter. In the end, it's a nice fish.

PartyWhine
Gorgous fish. And I don't doubt you caught 30 inches of brookie on consecutive casts. Right time, right place, tiny water, no pressure ... its a beautiful thing. But ... your fingers are telling me this is 2 shots of one fish. 3 years ago, (probably means 5 if your meemory is like mine), easy mistake. Look for another picture. Tell me where you were and I'll change my mind. Very nice catch.
reinhard1
Len, as far as i'm concerned you caught the two trout back to back. i have done so a few times. it's not that hard in a wild environment. i take your word for it and thank you for the pics. i dont see the need for people to critisize fish that people catch. you spend a lot of time on the water for trout and i wish you many more years to do the same. good luck.
