Hester Posted August 16, 2012 Share Posted August 16, 2012 I think someone else has posted that same video before.I believe that when bass are smacking the heck out of that mouse, they would hit just about anything on top. CANOPY SAM Posted August 16, 2012 Share Posted August 16, 2012 My fam and I had fantastic top water action this last weekend. Off a small, bull rush covered, sandy bottomed point, with a little rock and a few sharp breaks I caught 5 fish in 6 casts, everyone between 19-21 inches! The old standard Heddon mini-Torpedo is my go-to favorite. I agree with the above posts. When they want something off the surface, it really doesn't matter much what it is. I had my kids on a little bass lake a few years back. The kids had small crappie jigs on under a bobber. Several times throughout the day bass just exploded on the twitching BOBBER!
