Learned a bit about running completely on generator this summer. Ice fishing we’re adequately covered with the Honda 2000 but the big camper is another story. We went with a Predator 4550 inverter. Broke it in by spec and test ran it at home with everything on but on a cooler day. All good! First run on site was a hot day though. By all accounts it SHOULDA been enough to run the A/C but we had some issues. Harbor Freight even sided with us and exchanged our first one for a replacement. 2nd one did the same thing - over revved; overloaded and tripped out. After lots of internet trouble shooting and talking with actual electricians and debating about upsizing, I went with a soft start kit. Another $300 but yep, that was the ticket. Runs smooth as butter now. Even better n my best hand in cribbage tonight. -

Oak tree and May fly, sex season! With stringy oak tree pollen sacks hanging all over everything, and dead May fly bodies stuck all over everything! Throw in a few spider webs and you camper or cabin looks like a haunted house! 🤨 😆

I am looking to pick up the HME Ground Mount Trail Camera Holder and was wondering if anyone could tell me how durable they are. $25/per.
We're heading on our annual Wyoming Antelope archery trip this weekend and always scout our waterholes with cameras. I'm sick of carrying t-posts along, not to mention the pain of having to devise clever ways to strap my Moultrie I40's on them. Hoping this is the ticket.
