WillCFish
We are fishing a small lake in Minnesota this week. Does anyone know what to expect from this lake or are other lakes in Itasca County better?WillCFish
twigjigger
i looked it up for you and its 138 acres (small) and has crappies gills, bass pike and walleyes in it. according to the dnr census fish averages werent great. ironically their average walleye sampled was almost 4 lbs but they only netted 1 so thats not much of an average.go to mn dnr lakefinder and you can look up all the lakes in the area and how the dnr deems the status of the fishery.(can be wrong at times as some fish are very net shy)Gl
Iambjm
If you can, go down the road and fish Owen lake, good northern, bass, panfishing, + walleyes.
