I'm really gun shy now when handling fish with cranks. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and buy a Lindy fish glove, and slap it on after I land the fish.

Yup. Its all pliers from here on out for me and crankbait fish. I have been skewered twice now and its NOT fun.

My finger didnt bleed at all. Even when the doc yanked the hook out it didnt bleed. But it still sucked.

The day after I went out fishing. The thumb was fine but my left shoulder was killin me from the tetanus shot. Got a hit on my frog, went to set the hook..... FAIL. shoulder was so sore I couldnt even set the hook that hard. Started reeling in (Im a lefty)...... DOUBLE FAIL.... Could barely do that.

Lost three fish.

Came back home defeated.
