Idea's to raise a showerhead

SpitnArgueDuckClub*

Question

Hello Everyone, so in a couple of weeks we have a hockey player coming to our house for the upcoming season. In preparation for his arrival we are going through our check list to make sure things go as smoothly as possible for him here in our home. I am wondering if the shower head in his bathroom is tall enough for him. We were told that he is 6 foot 5 (at the grand old age of 16!!!) and the bottom of the shower head is currently at 5 foot 10. The threaded pipe coming out of the wall is straight out and slightly bent down and not adjustable. The shower head is slightly adjustable but I would like to get it a foot or so higher for him. Does anyone have any thoughts on a reasonably priced accessory to raise a shower head a foot? Thanks in advance!!!

I was searching for something to do just the opposite!! I think i have a solution for both of us!It's made by waterpik. Model NML-603s. On bizrate it cost $31.49. What it is; is a shower head on flexible tubing.( i think the tubing is 18") It screws into/onto the pipe like another shower head. Then you can raise or lower ( in my case!!) as needed.

My problem is at my wifes' trailer the shower is so high that when i have my rear end against the back of the shower, the water only hits my shoulders!!! blush

You can buy extender arms that attach to the existing stub. Just unscrew the shower head, attach the arm, then put the shower head on the extension.

Not quite as sleek as the previous one shown, but quite easy to add and they're adjustable. Being 6' 3" I added one to my shower. It was a great improvement.

They'd work to lower the shower head too.
