Anybody getting out in the hot stuff?

Recommended Posts

The hot weather has hampered my outings. It's one thing to get out on the water in a boat to cool off, it's different when you have to work up a sweat to move the boat around.

Fished yesterday for a few hours, not much to show for it, but that's the story for me recently. The lake I was on yesterday had a warm water fish kill going on, I'll blame that for my lack of success. wink

I'm fishing the early morning hours as well. But overall, my time has been pretty limited though. With the combination of the Mississippi river being high and being busier than ever at work, there just hasn't been a lot of time spent on the water. I'm actually thinking about investing in a float tube to throw in my trunk when I'm on the road for work. I'm finding myself up in the Brainerd and Duluth area just jonesin' to get into one of the billion lakes more often than I'd like.
