cut bait?

There is no doubt that at certain times, certain baits will out shine everything else. Not sure why that is, but I've seen it a few times.

A great example was last year up in Canada, either you had frogs and caught a fish every 15 min, or you had something else (we tried, sucker, tulibee, and chubs) and caught a fish every 2 hours.

I've never used frogs for catfish bait, though I've seen the posts about them working great. Do you guys cut them up at all or do you just hook 'em on live and drown them?

On Sunday all I had was some leftover frozen sucker (and crawlers as a backup plan in case I ran out of suckers). I only had a few hours to fish and the suckers lasted just long enough. The cats on the Miss near Elk River seemed hungry and they hammered the cut sucker and the clicker was screaming. I'll comment on that in the bait clicker thread too. After 30 mins in spot 1 I had 2 27" fat channels and missed one more. I thought I would run out of suckers for sure, but it slowed down a bit after that.

Nutter I was in jordan shore fishing with my buddy and our women. Had a couple runs on cut sheep again hooked into one of them but sob got off I got pretty [PoorWordUsage] as I had it on for awhile and then it came off I then threw my pole about 20 yards in frustration haha. But they were only hitting the cut sheep again nothing on bully the last 4 times about done with bullheads this year. We should get together sometime and hit the river up!!!
