Jari Razskazoff
I've been to neither, and would like to go to one this weekend. Which one would you suggest, and why? I will be be using a crappie rod, and number 0-1 spinners. Thanks in advance!
trappingaddiction
In general, the main Kinni is higher numbers of smaller (most under 14 inches) brown trout with few larger ones and the Rush is a lower numbers big fish stream (20+ inch browns are very common on the Rush, but plenty of eaters can be found as well as some nice brook trout). The South Fork of the Kinni does hold some pretty decent size brook trout as well in pretty high numbers. If you are looking for a chance at a big fish or two you will want to fish bigger spinners but if smaller (eater) size fish are more you thing, you should be okay with what you have. Good luck!
