We are getting white and red breasted nuthatches, chickadees, downy and hairy woodpeckers, goldfinches and fing red squirrels! I haven't seen gray jays or blue jays for a while which is very unusual.

Dutch oven pot roast for dinner. Turned out good for first try not in a crock pot. 😋 -

My feeders are getting mugged right now with the cold weather coming. Even the squirrels and bunnies are at it. I have like 6 of the fattiest squirrels on the planet, and I'm trying to give them all cardiac arrest by dumping all the old Christmas cookies and treats out there. They eat everything! 😆

It's sporadic. Some days I got a bunch then none. When I do some woodpeckers, bunch of finches and an occasional cardinal. I'm not sure what changed but I've gone through more suet cakes since last spring then I have the last 4-5 years

I had a hard time figuring out where to post this, but I've recently had the chance to check out the first two copies of the MN Sporting Journal. They seem to have a great magazine that has good information, deals with controversial issues, and is loaded with great pictures. Check it out if you get the chance!
