heavy rain=flooded fields

Recommended Posts

went for a little drive today, and noticed a few fields with water in them near the river in the usual spring time bowfishing holes. upon a closer look i could see the grass moving and the water churning. CARP!! i didn't think we would get water high enough this year, but it has happened. all the rain has clouded the river so i'm thinking fishing will be tough, maybe a good weekend to stab some carp.

I found plenty of fish today in the shallows with back sticking out of the grass, was great shooting for a while. Was able to pick out the big girls getting pushed up by all the small guys. Filled a barrel with only 18 fish!
