I just picked up a HDS-5 Gen II and was messing with my settings while I had my LOTW/Rainy Lakemaster chip installed.
I have a Endura Sierra hand-held that I used for my chart prior to this and liked being able to identify the lake feature points of interest. It seemed like every rock pile had a name, etc.
When I was scrolling around on my HDS I didn't have the same luxury. Very little information on reefs and such.
I am hoping it is just a setting that I am missing but I went through the menus multiple times. All of the detail settings are on high.
Any thoughts/suggestions? I am assuming there is a way to activate the detail - I wouldn't imagine that they'd have the detail on the handheld and not the HDS.

My feeders are getting mugged right now with the cold weather coming.
Even the squirrels and bunnies are at it.
I have like 6 of the fattiest squirrels on the planet, and I'm trying to give them all cardiac arrest by dumping all the old Christmas cookies and treats out there. They eat everything! 😆
It's sporadic. Some days I got a bunch then none. When I do some woodpeckers, bunch of finches and an occasional cardinal.
I'm not sure what changed but I've gone through more suet cakes since last spring then I have the last 4-5 years
Mods, changing my password only works for 1 try. Today I couldn't get on again. As far as birds, I have none! No cardinals, no blue jays even. How you guys doing. I'd like to post more if the mods can get my password right.
Don't forget the kitties contribution of T.J. Hock.
They offed em' in the end of his deal ( over 9 million next year) & gave up a second round pick too.
