I bought a new Humminbird 958c in the offseason, and installed it myself. Had it in the water over the weekend, and it works great. So far it seems like an outstanding product that I'm going to love. Kicks the heck out of my old Lowrance X51.
My only problem is that I can't figure out how to see the water temperature. I installed the unit with the standard transducer (there is only one). Does that transducer detect water temp? Do I need additional equipment? Or is it in the menus somewhere?
