Yup! Lucky enough to see them play a wedding reception a few years back. My nephew married into to Banjo Dave's family. What a bash that was!

Son Volt ROCKS! Cant see how you can compare them to TBT, though.

I saw TBT a few times years ago in Duluth. They're pretty good, but never "pulled" me in. "Speed Grass" is cool, but not my cup 'o tea for steady listening.

Thats was a bit of a reach on my part but usually someone who likes TBT will like Sonvolt as well. Both are a little bit tween IMO with Sonvolt having rock music in it.

Well. I was not able to make it down last year, but this year I will make a much more conscious effort to attend.

It's been a while (weird) since I've seen Charlie Parr, Pert near is great, and Boys n the Barrels are friends of mine.

If i remember right you mentioned there was Chili last year. Chili and Bluegrass are two of my favorite things that don't directly involve fishing.

Yeah last year I was slanging Tall Grass and chili/cornbread. I also know Peters from Bn'TB.. hopefully I'll get that gig again.. it was an absolute blast.. since our tent was right next to the stage.. I didn't miss a single song on main stage.. plus I made a ton of $$$ and got to drink a lot of good beer for free
